Many people know there is no safe level of lead, but do you know all the sources of lead exposure and how to prevent lead poisoning? Lead can cause learning disabilities, lower IQ, inattention, hyperactivity, aggression and other health challenges. As a result of lead exposure, children may struggle with learning or behavioral issues in school and long-term impacts to lifetime earning potential. The good news is that lead poisoning is 100% preventable. In this webinar, you will learn about lead, how children and adults are exposed to lead, health impacts, and how to prevent lead poisoning. You will also learn what the Learning Disabilities Association and partners are doing to protect families from lead and how you can join LDA in this work. Register at https://bit.ly/Lead101Webinar2021. It’s free and all registrants will get the recording and resources emailed to them.
